Obituary - Ottawa Citizen - Dec.14,2005-
Purdon, Eva Jeanette (nee McIntyre) 1908 - 2005. Eva passed away peacefully at the hospital in Perth on Monday, December 12th, 2005 in her 98th year. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Annie McIntyre and was predeceased by her husband Mervil Purdon. Eva is survived by her beloved brother Jim (Tena) McIntyre, her nieces Sandra McIntyre and Brenda McIntyre and nephew Blake (Angie) McIntyre. She will be fondly remembered by her great nephews and niece, Rick (Debra) Cyr, Jim (Sue) McIntyre and Robert (Elizabeth) McIntyre and Tracy (Ted) Middleton and 5 great-great nephews and nieces. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Friday, December 16th, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Crawford's Cemetery, McDonald's Corners. Reception to follow at the Elphin Presbyterian Church Hall at 1:00 p.m. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
