Services for Archie L. Hodges, 84, of Lufkin were held September, 6, 1981 in the Parkview Baptist Church of Lufkin, burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mr. Hodges had lived in Lufkin for 54 years and was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. He was a retired forman for the Texas Highway Department.
Survivors: wife, Lillie Hodges; son, I. D. Hodges; daughter, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Billingsley; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
