Lona Horman, 77, of New Haven, died Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the Regency Place Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. The Hoagland native was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Gar Creek.

Lona was preceded in death by her husband, Enno, April 17th of this year.

She is survived by daughters, Beverly Scheiderer of Woodburn and Loretta Baker of Antwerp, Ohio; son, Wayne Horman of New Haven; brothers, Arnold Scheumann of Hoagland and Raymond Scheumann of Fort Wayne; sisters, Geraldine Meyer of Ossian and Garnita Rebber of New Haven; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Lona was also preceded in death by her brother, Henry Scheumann and her sister, Margaret Keifer.

Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1910 N. Berthaud Road, New Haven. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy 930 E, New Haven. Calling also one hour before service time Thursday at the church. Burial at the church cemetery.
