Elmer Avery Christy died Saturday morning, Sept 24, 1927, at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Christy after suffering with flu and stomach trouble for a period of ten days. He was 25 years and 4 months of age. He leaves a father, mother, four sisters, and three brothers, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure. He was a kind and loving son and brother, and his presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was laid to rest in the Star Valley Cemetery. Leonard Feagins and family and mother of Oklahoma City, Forrest Feagins and family and John Beard and family of Seminole, Sam Christy and son Lindle of Wynona, Mrs. Lou Rogers of Drumright and Pearl, George and Roy Christy of Burbank came to view the remains of their loved one and attend his funeral.
