Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Edna Howerton Deweese of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Walker, Oak Grove, and Mrs. Vicki Coleman
, Berryville; three brothers, Miles Deweese, Jim Dewese and Troy Deweese all of Berryville; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Shackelford, Osage, and Mrs. Carrie Miller, Catoosa, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 6 at 2 p.m. in Gobbler Church near Berryville with the Rev. Roy Cain officiating. Burial was in Gobbler Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.
