Wife of Arthur Inghram, married December 19, 1852 in Franklin Twp., Greene county, Pennsylvania.

Mary was buried in the Coen family plot in Old Fairfield City cemetery. Presumably she died in Jefferson county, Iowa, but there are no Iowa death records prior to 1880 for confirmation. No 1874 Fairfield area newspaper obituary has been found for her.

When Arthur died he was buried in Evergreen cemetery (an adjacent, but separate, cemetery) in the Regester family plot that belonged to his daughter's Regester married family. Why exactly he was not buried with Mary isn't known, but it could be as simple as not enough room in the Coen family plot to accomodate him, and adjacent plot space was not available for purchase.

See Arthur's memorial for information about other family burials in that family plot.

Note:
Although there are two separate memorials for possible son(s) Eugene Inghram, it isn't entirely clear from cemetery records if there were one or two young sons with the same name. Have made two entries, but with caution. Because there are no Iowa or Jefferson county death records for 1874 and no newspapers from 1874 that were microfilmed, all that researchers so far have are inscriptions to try and establish relationships.
