One of nine USAF personnel from Barksdale AFB killed in the crash of B-52G 58-0228 near Stone Lake, Wis., on Nov. 18, 1966. One of the worst crashes in BAFB history. Killed were Capt. Curtis E. Robertson, pilot; Lt. Col. Jack Atherton, LT. Darrick R. Negron, Capt. Edward E. Kamph, Capt. Michael J. Dunlap, Maj. James H. Crook, Lt. Jerome P. Callegari Jr., Master Sgt. Lonnie B. Woodard and A1C Gerald D. Turney.
