Lois is the daughter of Nekolie Christian and Mary Luella (Holman) Mikkelson. She married Kent Jay Blackham, June 6, 1940 in the Manti LDS Temple in Utah. They had 3 daughters: Loy Ann, Marilyn, & Karla.
Lois was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various church callings. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, embroidering, cooking, singing, and spending time with her family.
Lois passed away on Oct. 4, 2001 and was laid to rest Oct. 9, 2001. Her obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune, Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001 in section B, page 5.
