Mrs. Brune was born April 9, 1920, in New Haven, the daughter of Fred Klingsick and wife Amelia, nee Dierking.
She was united in marriage to Elwin Brune June 12, 1948, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Leslie.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Brune was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Marvin Klingsick and Virgil Klingsick.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington. The Rev. Mark Bangert and the Rev. Joel Schultz officiated.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
