Ms. Rogers was born a daughter of the late Simon and Ida Vandyke Rogers. She was a retired accountant and secretary at Johnson City Eye Center (formerly Wilson Eye Clinic) for 40 years. Ms. Rogers was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
Ms. Rogers is survived by two sisters, Letty Rogers Bryant, of Newport, Tennessee, and Marie Rogers Wilson and husband, Jerry, of Boone. She is also survived by five nieces, one nephew and a number of great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Turner Rogers, and Vilas Rogers; two sisters-in-law, Madge Rogers and Vivian Rogers; and one brother-in-law, Eulys Bryant.
