Pearl's mother was Sarah Helen "Nellie" Thompson, the daughter of
William and Susan Thompson.

Helen married Charles C Hansen on 7/1/1895 in Manistee, Michigan. They
had two daughters, Hazel and Pearl. A divorce decree was issued
7/17/1902 in Wayne County, Michigan.

Helen then married Thomas A Dawes on 1/25/1905 in Entrican, Michigan. It
appears that Thomas either legally adopted Hazel and Pearl or they
thought of him as their father for both girls show up on many records
with the last name of Dawes and have Thomas Dawes listed as father.
