According to family records he was born near Jackson's Station, in Tipton Co, IN. on the Mart Kendell Farm, a son of Richard Thomas Berry and Catheryn Ann Davidson. After their mother died, he and his brother William Lee left their home in Indiana and went to Coles Co, Illinois and changed their name to Beaury. He married Georgia Ann Scott, 14 Jul 1901, Leasburg, Crawford Co, MO. He died at the home of his son, Esper Beaury, 710 N. Broadway, Springfield, MO. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Georgia Ann Beaury, of the home, a daughter, Mrs. Edna Alsup of Blytheville, AR; two more sons, Thomas H. Beaury of Wilmington, CA, and Ovle Beaury of Los Angeles, CA. and 11 grandchildren.
