This would make sense as his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Crumb (d Sept 28, 1969) is still a survivor at the time of this obituary. George Crumb
George E. Crumb, 63, of 1331 Maple St., died Saturday at 10 p.m., in Pawating Hospital, after being ill one day.
Employed at Tyler Refrigeration Division of Clark Equipment Company as a timekeeper, Mr. Crumb was born here, Sept. 10, 1904.
In addition to his wife, Edith, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Crumb of Niles; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Nieb of Niles; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. William Mansfield of Niles; and Mrs. Ben Richards of Adrian.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m., in the Pifer Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Schloop of the First Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends are being received at the funeral home after 7 p.m., this evening.
