After Peter died she married 2nd Melchior Bossard, son of Philip and Eva Bossert in New York. They had one son Melchior Bossard born 1800 died 1879.

She died at the age of 62 years 3 months and 24 days.
She is buried in an unmarked grave in Christ Hamilton Lutheran Cemetery.
