Braxton Lee "Bubba" Herrada, 16, of Garden City died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at his home in Garden City.

He was born Sept. 13, 1994, in Garden City.

Herrada was a lifetime resident of Garden City. He attended Garden City schools, including Florence Wilson Elementary School, Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center, Kenneth Henderson Middle School, and had been attending Garden City High School. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, shooting his gun, drawing and spending time with his family, especially his brothers.

Survivors, all of Garden City, include his father, Mike Herrada; his mother, Melissa (Campbell) Hahn; three brothers, Stanton Herrada, Trenton Hahn and Ashton Hahn; and his grandparents, Gregory and Velma Campbell and Pete and Dora Herrada. He was preceded in death by two great-grandfathers and a great-grandmother.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Garnand Funeral Home.

Vigil service and rosary was at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Funeral Mass was at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery.
