PRINCETON, KY - Hazel Horning, 83, died Aug. 13, 2005, at her home. She was of the Baptist faith.

Services were Aug. 16 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. Rev. J. Bill Jones and Rev. Billy Don Hearrin officiated. Burial was in Mexico Cemetery.

Surviving is a son, David Carter Fletcher of Princeton; a daughter, Marsha Sharon Batts of Waverly, Tenn.; a brother, Herbert Winters of Marion; three sisters, Violet Myers of Providence, Gertrude Paletti of Louisville, and Edith Russell of Marion; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Horning; her parents, R.W. Winters, Sr. and Pearl Byrd Winters; six brothers; a sister; a son, Doyle Clyde Fletcher; and a daughter, Janice Fletcher.
