Garnett T. Burnette
Garnett Thomas Burnette, 91, of Woodlawn Route 1, died
November 26 in Twin County Community Hospital.
He was born February 3, 1896, in Carroll County and was a son of the late Calvin and Victoria Melton Burnette.
Survivors include three daughters, Geneva Cox and Gardella Terry both of Woodlawn, Willa Hamilton of North Canton, OH; two sons, Kenny Calvin and Hazen Burnette both of Galax; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Amy Gardner, Hillsville.
The funeral was November 28, 11 a.m. in Coulson Church of the Brethren with the Revs. Jody Hendricks and Russell Payne
officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
