Mrs. Nell Cook, 95, died Monday, March 6, at her home.
Mrs. Cook was born at Wamego, Kansas, September 29, 1893, the daughter of George and Ellen Buell.
She married Jesse Neff Cook December 24, 1911 at Frederick, OK. He died in 1955. She came to Wellington in 1911 from Frederick.
Mrs. Cook was a former member of Wellington Garden Club and took part in many of its projects relating to the improvement of the town. She was also a member of the Home Demonstration Club and First Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, J.N. Cook of Roswell, NM, and Frank Cook of Fort Worth; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Harrell of Borger; two sisters, Grace Gross of Tipton, OK and Blanche Galloway of Broken Arrow, OK; eight grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers, two sisters and her husband.
