CLARENCE GEMINDEN

A graveside service for Clarence Geminden, 97, will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Carrier, Okla. at 11 a.m. Rev. Eric Brown will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Clarence was born to Frank and Katy Geminden, Jan. 31, 1909, in Cedar, Mo. and died Dec. 27, 2006, at Bass Hospital in Enid, Okla.

The family settled in Sedalia, Mo. where he attended and graduated from Smith Cotton High School. On Jan. 11, 1933, he married Emma Stahmer. They made their first home near Garber, Okla. He worked as a carpenter and farmer all of his life, living in the Carrier and Lahoma areas until they retired on their farm near Goltry.

Clarence was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Lahoma, Okla.

Surviving are five sons, Stamer Geminden and wife Donna of Longmont, Colo., Robert Geminden of Plano, Texas, David Geminden and wife Sharon of Johnstown, Colo., Phillip Geminden and wife Sharon of Plano, Texas, and Jimmy Geminden and wife Helen of Carrier, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Emma, five sisters and three brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
