William Eddy Sr.

William came to Nevada in 1874 to work for the US Post office in Gold Hill, NV. He was the local Post master until his death on May 29th 1888 at age 33 of a gangrenous infection that set in after he broke his right leg in fall from a wagon.

The Attached Photo of William Eddy, Sr. is courtesy of the Stiller family of Reno, NV who were kind enough to let me copy the photo of their Great x4 Great Uncle.

The Photo of the Eddy family grave is a 1950s replacement of the originals that were made of wood.

The other two photos show the Gold Hill NV City Cemetery as it looks like today.
