News-Capital and Democrat, McAlester, Oklahoma, Wednesday, March 20, 1957, Page 6, Col. 2: Thomas A. Donnelly Dies at Home Of Daughter in McAlester. Thomas A. Donnelly, 79, a resident of McAlester five years, died early today following an extended illness.
Donnelly was born at Vinita, March 10, 1878. He came to McAlester five years ago to make his home with a daughter, Mrs. W. W. Bess, 406 East Wichita. He was farmer and rancher while living at Vinita.
Survivors include a son, Pete Donnelly, San Diego, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Bess, Mrs. Bill Jones, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Jack McGowan, Claude, Texas, and Mrs. Jack Allmon [Allman], Pueblo, Colo., eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held Friday at 3;30 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel, Vinita. Burial will be in the Vinita cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Humphrey Funeral home Chapel until 1 p.m. Thursday.
