Funeral rites held for Mrs. Bert Stuve
Mrs. Bert Stuve (nee Avis Kathleen Allenson) was born at Pelly, Saskatchewan, on June 29, 1917. She moved to the Stettler district in 1919, where she resided until she was married to Bert Stuve, on December 2, 1934. Here she took an active part in all community activities.
Following this, Mrs. Stuve and her husband, Bert, moved to Camrose. She was employed by St. Mary`s Hospital for 7 1/2 years, until ill health came. She spent the remaining months of her life in her home, and passed away at St. Mary`s Hospital on May 19th.
She leaves to mourn: her loving husband; two sons, James of Red deer and Allen of Hughenden; two grandchildren; two brothers, Howard of Didsbury and Gordon of Edmonton; one sister, Nora (Mrs. Albert Grenier) of Mile 201, Alaska Highway, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Hoveland Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 22, at 1:30 p.m., Rev. F. McPhee officiating. Interment took place in the Camrose Cemetery. Pallbearers were Irvin Wilson, Adrian deRoon, Ernest Mutchler, Harold Hewitt, Emil Sollid and Irvin Lauber. Hoveland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
