Brownsburg, June 24 -- Mrs. Fern L. Brown, 48, Lizton, wife of N. Brown and mother of Mrs. James McIntyre, Aurora, Ill, died unexpectedly of heart disease at 1 p.m. Wednesday at her home in Lizton.
Survivors include, besides the husband and Mrs. McIntyre, another daughter, Miss Rosebud Brown, Lizton; one son, John, Lizton; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Pointer, Indianapolis, Miss Mary Whorley, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Pearl Giberson, Sacremento, Calif.; and three brothers, Fred E. Whorley, Marion, Ind, Parm Whorley, Indianapolis, and Emerald Whorley, Oakland, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill chapel, Lebanon, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, a native of Advance, was born January 28, 1900, the daughter of Z.M. and Rhodalpha Airhart Whorley. She was a member of the Eastern Star at Pittsboro and American Legion Auxiliary at Lizton. Friends may call at the Jones Matthews funeral Home in Brownsburg.
