William Henry Morgan, 49, died at his home in Long Grove, IL. June 4, 1954, after a long struggle with cancer. He was born at Holmes, AR. in Wiley Twp.(later called Fender). He was a son of Benjamin T. P. Morgan and Minnie Bell (Parks) Morgan. He was a resident of Randolph Co, until Dec 1950, when he and his wife Mae moved to Lake Co, IL. He married Mae Wells, March 11, 1923, Evening Star, Greene Co, AR. Survivors are his wife Mae of Long Grove, IL, a son Charles Morgan of Long Grove, IL; 5 daughters, Mrs. Juanita Thomas of Coulterville, IL, Mrs. Reba Alsup of Des Plaines, IL, Mrs. Annie Janetzke of Chicago, IL; Noie Morgan and Bonnie Morgan, both of Long Grove, IL; his mother Mrs. Minnie Snodgrass of Manila, AR. a brother, Jesse Morgan of Pocahontas, AR; a half brother, John Snodgrass of Coloma, MI; 2 sisters, Mrs. Millie Brown of Jonesboro, AR. and Mrs. Irene Sullivan of Phoenix, AZ. 2 half sisters, Mrs. Ruby Wootton of Byesville, OH and Mrs. Betty Ferguson of Columbus, OH. and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Morgan, and 2 children, Ben and Grace Morgan.
