Funeral services for Gilbert R. Glass, 44, a Selma painter who was struck and killed by a switch engine Thursday night just south of Mulberry Street will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Breslin Service Funeral Home. The Rev.G.C. Spencer of the Church of God will officiate. Burial will follow in New Live Oak cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dan Little, Johnny Allen, Paul Williams, Charles Hatfield, Charles McLeod and Robert Glass.
Mr. Glass resided at No 2 Sylvan Street with a brother, John Glass and family. A large family connection survives.
