Parents: Fielding (Felix)& Lodemia(Slatten)Turner, H/O Vesta Mooneyham, married 3 Sep. 1899. Children,Lyman B.1901,Valma Lee 1904, Gladys May 1908. Lawson attended the public schools of Smithson entered Pure Fountain College. Later he attended Debrell college at Debrell, Tennessee.In 1907 enrolled in the legal department of Cumberland University,from which he graduated with the LL.D. Degree in 1908. In 1915 he was elected to the state senate.
