Charles Odell Scott, 77, of 2831 Radio Station Road, Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, October 17th, while in the company of family members, at Monroe County Medical Center.
On December 17, 1955, at Jeffersonville, Ind. he married Geneva Scott who survives him.
Charles was born in Tompkinsville, KY on March 6, 1933, a son of the late Grace (Turner) and Sam Claude "Jack" Scott.
He worked as a Custodian for 15 years at the Monroe County Board of Education. Charles was also a Carpenter and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Charles is also survived by
two daughters, Deborah, wife of Rick Whitlock, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Linda, wife of Michael Emberton, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Four Grandchildren, Chasity Stephens, Eric Nason, Chad Emberton, Valerie Towe; Two step grandchildren, Jessica Whitlock and Ricky Whitlock: Four Great grandchildren Lexie Stephens, Tylan Grooms, Taylor Brooke Emberton. Wyatt Daniel Towe; and four step great grandchildren Trey Whitlock, Keaton Whitlock, Caelan Shirley, and Jayden Seymour.
Charles is also survived by
One sister, Mary Humes, of Tompkinsivlle, KY; Two brothers, Freddie Scott of Tompkinsville, KY, and Jack Paul Scott of St. George, Utah.
Charles is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Amanda Nason, Scotty Nason. One sister, Dorothy Scott and one brother, William Bill Scott.
Funeral Services at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, KY., 1PM on Wednesday, October 20th with Wayne Scott and Jack Paul Scott officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday 11AM at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home and Wednesday, 6am-1pm at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home.
