Alfred Born, a well known Kenton man, lifeless body was found last evening on the New York Central right-of-way near S. Detroit Street crossing. He was found by Will Schnaudt and Emil Hogue who reported the matter to Kenton Police. Hardin County Coroner Kenneth W Preston returned verdict of death from a heart attack. Born was a native of Switzerland, born there September 20, 1874, but came here at an early age. He had lived in Kenton for 57 years, 50 of which he was employed at the Champion Equipment Company where he was a skilled mechanic. He was a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge. In 1900 he was married to Lizzie Miller who survives with 4 brothers, Amil and Robert Born, both of Kenton, Ernest Born of Detroit, Michigan, and Jacob Born of near Kenton; and 2 sisters Frieda Born and Mrs. AE Roby both of Kenton. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
