Last Friday morning at about three o'clock, Arnold Petrie, a highly esteemed resident of St. Cloud, passed to the Eternal Home of Rest and Peace. Mr. Petrie had been ill with pneumonia but a few days. No one really realized that the Grim Reaper Death was so soon to claim him. He is survived by his wife. The body was laid at rest Monday in the Catholic cemetery, adjoining the church, where proper services were held previous to interment. The pall bearers were Anton Dreifuerst, O.J. Koll, Peter Schmitz, Frank Kohlman, John Dreifuerst, August Klinzing. The funeral is said to have been one of the largest ever held in St. Cloud.
