Jerry received a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1991 from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and was a member of the Innocents Society. In Chicago, he completed an MBA at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 2000.
He began his career with KPMG in Omaha. He later moved to Chicago to work with KPMG's Transactions Services, and then to KPMG's offices in Los Angeles where he became a partner in 2003.
In California, Jerry met Theresa (TJ) Wilson and the couple married in Palm Springs on November 10, 2007.
Jerry stayed active professionally, frequently speaking for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and he served on the board of Covenant House California. Jerry loved beach volleyball, golf, travel and spending time with his friends and family.
Jerry leaves his wife, TJ, his parents, Maureen and James, his siblings Jill and James Livingood of Charlottesville, Virginia; Jon and Jill Panzer of Omaha, Nebraska; and CH (Cpt) Joel Panzer of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He also leaves Goddaughters Joslyn Panzer and Eve Livingood, nephews Jackson Panzer and Samuel Livingood, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends to mourn him.
The family has invited friends and family to a memorial service to be held Thursday, October 21st at 11:00 A.M. with a reception from 12-4 P.M. at The Trump National Golf Club, 1 Ocean Trails Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes.
Mass of Christian Burial held on October 25, 2010 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Gordon with burial at Gordon Cemetery.
