Funeral services for Guy L. Lockhart, RD 5, Hickory township, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence on the East Brook road with Rev. Robert E. Douglass, pastor of the East Brook-Neshannock UP churches, in charge. Interment will be in Graceland cemetery.
Mr. Lockhart, aged 71, died suddenly with a heart attack Friday at noon. He had been around as usual in the morning. Born in Neshannock township on June 28, 1869, son of William E. and Margaret Parker Lockhart, he had spent his life in Lawrence county, where he was a well known farmer. He was a member of East Brook UP Church. Mr. Lockhart was preceded in death by his wife, Mary B. Munnell Lockhart, in 1932.
Surviving are three children, W. Glenn Lockhart of Hickory township, Kenneth L. Lockhart of New Castle, Mrs. Mildred Alborn, at home; two grandchildren, Mary Jane Lockhart, James Alborn, and two brothers, Clyde N. Lockhart and Fred C. Lockhart, both of New Castle.
Mr. Lockhart as well as his wife, was a member of the Volant College Association of Volant. Members of the association plan to attend funeral services in a body.
