Statesboro, Ga., June 18 - W. H. (Buie) Anderson, 78, well-known citizen and prominent farmer of Bulloch County, died late last night at his home after a short illness.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Maude Kennedy Anderson; one daughter, Mrs. V. B. Bowen, Hinesville; two sons, Rev. Carl H. Anderson and W. Cecil Anderson, both of Statesboro; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carson Jonis and Mrs. Fillmore Proctor, both of Savannah; four brothers, S. P. Anderson of Macon, J. H., R. T. and T. G. Anderson, all of Leefield.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday from the residence with the Rev. George Lovell officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Barnes Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
