Nellie Langworthy was born in Adams County, Wis., June 26, 1859 and died at her home in Ashland township January 19k 1929, aged 69 years, 6 months and 23 days. She was married to Geo McKean Nov. 30, 1882 and four children were born to this union. Her passing is mourned by three sons, Earl of Minneapolis, Riley of Ashland township, and Elwin of Tomah, Wis.; one brother, U.S. Langworthy of Dodge Center; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Babcock of Milton, Wis. and Edna of Dodge Center; many other relatives and numerous friends. She early professed faith in Christ and had been a member of the S.D. Baptist Church of Dodge Center for nearly sixty years. Mrs. McKean had been in poor health for many years. During years of poor health she was cheerful patient and never complained. Throughout her entire life she was thoughtful of and kind to others. Her finished work has been well done. In April she suffered a slight stroke of paralysis. During last few days she was afflicted with pneumonia dn Brights disease. Funerl [sic] services conducted by Rev. E.M. Holston, were held on the S.D.B. church on Monday at 2:00 o'clock and burial was in the Riverside cemetery beside her husband whose burial occurred on last Thursday.
