She worked as a core maker for General Electric Co. for 15 years. She also worked for North East area grape farms, including the Klenz farm. She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars North East Post Auxiliary. She was also a member of the North East Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harold G. Beebe, in 1979; three brothers, Carl, Walter and Charles Norman; and seven sisters, Josephine Jackson, Anna Mae and Ruby Norman (6/11/2000 age 92), Ilah Klenz (d 6/19/1990 age 84), Eva Pierce, Elizabeth Desin and Helena Willison Dean.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Weed and her husband, Donald, of North East; a brother, Paul Norman of North East; two grandsons, Donald Weed Jr. and David Weed; a granddaughter, Diane Cruz; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at North East Cemetery
