He was born in Linn County, Iowa, On June 10,1881. he was a graduate of the Rush Medical School in Chicago and practiced in Shawano, Wis., for many years. He was a 50 year member of the American Medical Association and a member of the United Methodist Church of Woodstock.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lila Marzoff, in 1959. He is survived by on sister, Amanda Bauer of Orange, California, many nieces and nephews and cousins in the greater DeKalb area.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec 31 from the Nash Memorial Chapel in Hinckley with rev. Irvine Huber officiating. Burial will be in the Pierce Cemetery, Rural Hinckley.
