Federal Census 1840 of Lowndes Co, GA enumerates one Thompson (Susan Thompson with a household full of children).

Bathsheba Ogden Tyre is a direct female descendant of Milly Ogden and her daugher Bathsheba. Two daughters in this family did the mt-DNA test and one of their matches can trace her direct female line back to Eliza Thompson who married Levi Sapp. I have not been able to connect Eliza to Rebecca’s daughter who was born between 1816-1820 but it does make be think there is something there.
