Joy L. Henderson, 75, of Livingston, died on Saturday morning, November 14, 1998 at her home. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Franzen Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Livingston.
Joy was born on March 22, 1923 in Clyde Park, Montana, the daughter of Benjamin and Helen (Proffitt) Adams. She attended schools in Clyde Park and Livingston. On August 2, 1941 she married Clarence Ayers. They were later divorced. On February 25, 1969 she married Edward E. Henderson in Livingston. For several years, Joy worked as a cook and waitress in several Livingston restaurants. Joy loved her family land especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.
Her survivors include her son and daughter; sister Marilyn Searl; sister in law, AnnaRose Adams; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Helen (Proffitt) Adams; son Terry B. Ayers and daughter Tina Dimple Ingram.
