PEORIA----Laura Abbey, 84, of 2501 NE Monroe St., formerly of Peoria Heights, died at 9:40a.m. Monday, April 21, 1997, at her residence.
She was born March 31, 1913, in Grundy County, Iowa, to Adolph and Anna Dorothy Ruhlsen Mordhorst.
Surviving are one son, David F. Sr. of Peoria, with whom she made her home; one grandson David F. Jr. of Pekin; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Cremation has been accorded, and inurnment of ashes will be in Parkview Cemetery Chapel of Peace.
