She was born January 24, 1924 in Chickalah, AR to Edna and Neil Cowger.
She was a graduate of the Class of 1941 in Dardanelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 36 years, Robert Andersen.
She is survived by her son, Barry Andersen of Wendover, NV; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherrie and Ron Jardine of Hermiston, OR, Betty Kaye Orton of Salt Lake City and Bobbi and Mike Madsen of Wendover, NV; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary and Richard Belcher of Chickalah, Rebecca and Wiley Kilgore of Ft. Smith and Betty and James Young of Fort. Worth, TX; nieces, Betty Kelley, Robin Abel, Stephanie Young, Lisa Kilgore; nephews, Rick Belcher, Bruce Belcher, Dr. Todd Young, Bob Kilgore, Larry Kilgore and Michael Kilgore; two aunts, Opal Heffington of Barling, AR and Fhroe Gremillion of Shawnee Mission, KS, cousins, Len Cotton, Margaret Hillyard and Beth Crain of Dardanelle.
Memorial Service was held Saturday, October 9 in the Christian Fellowship Church, Wendover, NV and internment in Richmond Cemetery, Richmond, Utah.
