Lillian Margaret Burril Lee, a lifelong resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 16, 2010, in Shalimar, Florida, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Lyle and Georgia Crews. Surrounded by love, holding daughters' Ava Lee and Georgia's hands, Lillian joined her family who were called before her, in heaven with Christ.

Lillian was an active member of Handsboro Methodist Church who truly enjoyed ministering to others as served her Lord, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, quilting, knitting, and crocheting; was an avid reader; loved traveling throughout the United States; was proud to be an American; and loved living in Gulfport. Lillian enjoyed visiting with and walking daily with several friends for nearly thirty years. She cared for her family and made her husband and each of her four children the center of her life.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Lee; her siblings, Robert Burril, Lorene Burril Slade, James Irving Burril, Carlyle Burril, Florence Burril Charleton, and William B. Burril; and her eldest great-grandson, Patrick Anthony Lee.

Lillian was the beloved mother of John W. Lee, Jr. (Mary), Gulfport; Georgia Lee Crews (Lyle), Shalimar, FL; R. Carl Lee (Terre), Gulfport; and Ava Lee Cook (Joseph), Silver Spring, MD. She was a loving grandmother to John Anthony "Tony" Lee (Lari), Gulfport; Terry Allen Lee (Millicent), Baton Rouge, LA; Teena Lee Buhl, (Irwin, PA); Dr. Brandon Lee Crews, Daytona Beach, FL; and John Michael Crews (Stephanie), Navarre, FL. She was "GG" (Great-grandmother) to Alexandra Buhl, (Hattiesburg, MS); Hannah, Hayden, and Hillary Lee, (all of Baton Rouge, LA); and Jonathan Lee, (Gulfport).
