Died July 7, a his home in Comstock township Adelbert Cady, aged 40 years and 11 months. Mr. Cady was born in Tecumseh, Mich., Aug. 7, 1861. In 1896 he was married to Miss Adelia Eggleston at Paw Paw, who died two years after their marriage. In 1897 he moved to Wichita, Kan., and later to Augusta, Kan. Mr. Cady's health has been failing for the past six years but he continued to work until within a week of his death. Six years ago, he united with the Free Will Baptist church and has been a member ever since. He leaves a little son Frank, age 4 years, a mother, Mrs. Adelin Cady and four half-sisters, Mrs. R. E. Nearpass, Ford, O.; Mrs. Amos Carpenter, Galesburg; Mrs. Ransom Sperry, Trowbridge, Mich., and Mrs. W. C. Clark, Galesburg. He was buried beside his sister at Cooper Center.
