He was employed by McGrath Sand & Gravel.
Born January 4, 1902, in Washburn, he was a son of John and Nora Lewis Haushahn. He married Lena Rupp in June, 1924, in Chillicothe. She died in 1979. One sister preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, John Haushahn Jr. of Chillicothe; and two daughters, Betty Beddow and Jean Williams, both of Chillicothe.
Burial at City Cemetery.
