Services for Andree' M. Budd, formerly of Litchfield, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kirlin - Egan and Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Render officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to Contact Ministries, 1100 East Adams, Springfield, IL 62703. Mrs. Budd, of Springfield, died at 2:43 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 1999, in Northwest Suburban Community Hospital. She was 49 years old on February 24. She worked as a realtor since 1987 and was a member of the Springfield Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association and the National Association of Realtors. She was also manager of Women's World at White Oaks Mall for many years. She was a long time volunteer with Contact Ministries, where she was administrator of the Project Relief program for individuals and families who require utility assistance from the power company, CWLP. She coordinated the "Adopt a Family" program for Christmas, planned activities for other holidays throughout the year and assisted with many fund raising events. She was named Volunteer of the Year and received the Sid Wood Memorial award from Contact Ministries in 1984. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of John and Laurence Mole' Gurley. Besides her parents, who live in Springfield, other survivors include a brother, Richard Gurley and wife Victoria of Maryville and their daughter, Amy; and many relatives in France.
