Miss Bowen married George Stillwell Cortelyou on September 14, 1912 at Brodhead, Rock County, Wisconsin. They were the parents of two daughters, Dorothy Bowen and Jane Bowen Cortelyou. She died at the age of 91 years of age in Gig Harbor, Washington.
