Rosemary grew up in Luna from the age of 2 with her Aunt & Uncle Bland on their ranch. She loved the life there. She visited her mom in the lower Luna valley every weekend. She went to school in Luna, Reserve and Silver City. She married in 1945. She supported her husband in his many endeavors. They helped run the Reserve water-works with his mom, she helped work his mines in Pinos Altos, ran a laundromat in Silver City and worked at a flower shop along with raising 4 children. In later years she helped her daughter run the mail contract to Glenwood and then took over the route in 1980 and ran it and a freight service until around 1990 to 1992 and helped Dean Childress with her route afterward. She eventually moved back to Reserve and was very active in her congregation of the Church of Christ. She loved the Lord and liked Bible study.
She passed away of cancer in Washington where she spent her last 2 1/2 years with her daughters. We all miss her very much!
