Muriel J. Morrissey of Mount Laurel passed away in San Diego, Calif., Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was 67.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a longtime resident of Mount Laurel.
Muriel recently retired from the Mount Laurel Board of Education after 25 years of service with the Child Study Team.
She was the daughter of the late Martin P. and Marie A. Maguire.
She was survived by three children, Sean P. Morrissey, Maureen K. Johnson, and Gavin M. Morrissey; and four grandchildren, Haley, Erin, Cailin, and Teagan.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 223 East Union St., Burlington.
Interment following the Mass is to be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Road in Burlington.
