Services for Willette Jackson Boyte, 80, of Meadville were held Saturday Jan 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville. Burial was in Roxie Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyte died Wednesday Jan 6, 2010 at Meadville Convalescent Home. She was born Oct. 29, 1929 in Adams County, daughter of the late Lawrence Phillips and Laura. She was a homemaker and a member of Roxie Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tommie Jackson, her husband of three years, Kenneth Boyte; one son and two grandsons.
Survivors include one son, Jimmie Jackson (Susan) of Roxie; two daughters Betty Newman of Roxie and Helen Hutto (Tim) of Meadville; one brother Roy McKinney of Vidalia, La.; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
