Mrs. Timmons was a member of the Darlington United Methodist Church, the Darlington United Methodist Church Circle 1, and the Darlington Flower and Garden Club. She was a 1931 graduate of Waynetown High School. She worked at Dellekamps and for Drs. Lidikay, Runnels and Robinson Vets office.
Born July 4, 1912 in Ladoga, she was the daughter of Austin and Nellie Lytle Sicks. She married Wilbur E. Timmons December 24, 1933 at Mount Zion Church. He passed away on May 22, 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Jerry) McBee of Linden and Patricia (John) Ryker Parry of Beech Grove, daughter-in-law Eleanor Timmons of Crawfordsville, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph E. Timmons, two brothers, Lawrance Sicks and Buford Sicks, two sisters, Mildred Goode and Blanche Sicks, and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Darlington. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 PM Friday at the funeral home.
