He was born Feb. 24, 1902 in Marinette. He had operated a barber shop on Hall Ave. fo 50 years. He married the former Joyce Krummel on Aug. 29, 1929. He was a lifelong member of Peace United Church of Christ of Marinette.
Survivors include his widow, two sons, William and Frederick, both of Marinette; a daughter, Mrs. Patrick Bresnahan, Portage; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Six sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Hansen and Onion funeral home after noon on Thursday until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Daniel Winger will officiate and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
