Mrs. Sadie Baird Broadhurst
Springdale, June 25 - (Special) -
Funeral services were to be conducted today at 2:30 p. m. at the Presbyterian Church of Pea Ridge for Mrs. Sadie Baird Broadhurst, 79, who died Saturday afternoon at her home on Highland Avenue following a long illness. The Rev. Raymond Woodworth, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Pea Ridge cemetery under the direction of the Callison-Sisco Funeral Home.
She was born December 21, 1881, at Waverly, Mo. She spent 40 years at Pea Ridge, coming to Springdale only three moths ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Pea Ridge.
Surviving are her husband, William Broadhurst; one son, Lee Broadhurst of Fort Smith; one daughter, Mrs. Inez Allen of Springdale; one brother, Dr. M. L. Baird of Texas, and two grandchildren.
